Géographies de la mémoire
General public • Public reading
Géographies de la mémoire is the result of a meeting between three women of different cultures, each with her own roots, traditions, and collective and personal stories, each one so different from the other.
An execution. An explosion. A war.
This triptych takes the audience on a journey across time periods and continents, from Quebec to Japan, from Chili to Poland, from the First World War to the Chilean coup d’état, awakening shadows of the past and the ghosts of our memories.
Love. Birth. Escape.
Three beginnings, three origins; and the words of three women resounding here and now, brought together in memory. So as not to forget.
Public reading presented at the MAI, Montréal Arts Interculturels, September 2012.
